OfficeTeam has an immediate opening! Take HR to the next level for a growing company in the Davis, California area and manage all aspects of HR for diverse staff of around 50 employees. Positively influence the company morale and culture. Are you a positive, self-motivated individual? If so, then this is the role for you! Duties include; include but are not limited to, recruitment and retention activities, benefits enrollments, orientation, training, as well as some risk management and compliance. Also, accumulates and maintains payroll records to facilitate the preparation of employee paychecks with payroll providers to ensure that processing of information is submitted properly and on a timely basis. Requirements: ? Work with Management to understand hiring needs ? Manage performance evaluation program and ongoing employee development ? Work with new hires to welcome and familiarize them with Company rules and benefits ? Recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding on new hires ? Plan and execute all employee functions ? Anticipate and resolve any foreseeable employee issues, and recommend solutions ? Identify areas that need improvement to enhance the work experience for staff ? Ensure compliance with all employment and labor laws, by working with third-party payroll services provider ? Develop relationship sand attend career fairs for local colleges, as well as schools which specialize in fashion design ? Ensure personnel records are kept in an organized, complaint, and secure manner

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
